Julie Hooper raced to a silver medal at the George Giles Memorial 50 mile time trial.
The event, which incorporated the VTTA South Wales Championships, took place in windy conditions over two laps of the R50/1B course from Abergavenny to Raglan and Mitchell Troy.
There were 15 women starters in a lineup of 75 and Julie clocked a time of 2hrs 8mins 3secs to miss out on the gold medal by two minutes.
