Ross Duffield (Lead Coach) –
Level 2 coach,
Level 2 MTB specific coach,
Level 2 Cyclo-Cross specific coach,
Level 1 ride leader,
Level 2 MTB Ride Leader.
Ross is also the Cwmcarn Paragon Cycling Club Vice-Chairman.
Ross loves riding off road, and coaching MTB and Cyclo-Cross
Rowena Duffield –
Level 2 Coach
Rowena also looks after the Paragoonies Social Media Account.
Rowena loves MTB and Cyclocross. Can be found sending the jumps or pushing the pace at a CX race!
Steve Jones –
Level 2 Coach
Level 2 Ride Leader.
Steve is also the Cwmcarn Paragon Cycling Club Secretary, Club Kit Manager, and looks after the clubs social media and Strava account.
Steve loves road riding and road racing, along with time trials. He also enjoys mountain biking.
Shaugn “Vinny” Goodwin –
Level 1 Coach
Level 2 Ride Leader
Vinny enjoys road riding, but loves all things off road, and is often found around Cwmcarn Forest on his mountain bike.
Darren Harris –
Level 2 Coach
Darren enjoys all aspects of cycling and as a youth, he raced at Welsh Level. Now he loves riding and racing both MTB’s and Cyclo-Cross
Mike Griffiths –
Level 1 Coach
Mike has been riding road races and taking part in triathlons for over 10 years, and has recently fell in love with off road riding.
Richard Lake –
Successfully completed the Introduction to Coaching (Multi-discipline)
Richard loves off-road riding, and the challenge of racing, no matter where he finishes. Richard enjoys seeing young people improve their skills, and has been a volunteer in scouting, all his adult life.
Helen Stevenson –
Level 1 Coach, and is a Welsh Cycling Youth Ambassador.
Helen enjoys all disciplines in cycling, but her favourites are Time Trials and Cross Country MTB’ing. She has also been known to enjoy Cyclo-Cross (However she may deny this if asked).
Tom Mackenzie –
Assistant off road activity coach
Tom is a big lover of all things off road, but especially trail riding and XC (Cross country riding).
CLUB WELFARE OFFICERS
Paul Stevenson – Paul is the Cwmcarn Paragon Cycling Club Welfare Officer.
Paul started his cycling journey as a mountain biker, before discovering the joys of a road bike.
Lianne Lusty – Lianne is the Cwmcarn Paragon Cycling Club Assistant Welfare Officer.
Lianne loves road riding (especially hills), and running.
